The Summer Internship process which concluded in parallel with our Final placements has turned out to be a grand success. We managed to achieve 100% Placements in a process that lasted for a period of 2 months.

In all 29 companies participated in the Summer Internship cycle and made 81 offers for the batch of 62 students.

The highlight of this year’s Summer Internship Process has been the fact that Companies traditionally known to visit only top tier B-Schools like CRISIL, Titan, ITC offered internships to first year students at Vanguard.

Other big names that participated in the Summer Internship cycle include Media firm Radio Mirchi, Outdoor Advertising major Clear Channel Outdoor, Telecom majors like Tata Communications and Vodafone as well as the Delhi based FMCG major Faces Cosmetics.

In what has clearly been a difficult placement cycle Vanguard Business School has managed to attract an impressive mix of new recruiters on campus while we look forward to continuing our strong relationship with existing recruiters in the coming years.

Like last, this year also some very interesting profiles were offered by some promising startup companies– Thrillophilia – an adventure travel portal offered Product Development profile to our students. Entrance coaching institutes like EduMentor and VistaMind (which has also recruited at the IIMs this year) offered a variety of profiles like HR, Operations, Business Development and Market Research. Corporate Bridge, a Financial courses online training portal offered Financial Modelling profile which will preceded by an Intense training module. Similarly Finideas has offered a marketing profile that is preceded by an in-depth training in fundamentals of derivatives.

Trabacus, an open source ERP Solutions provider and Learnwise offered Business Development Roles. Fresco Social, a Social Media marketing company offered digital media marketing profile while Sportskeeda, a sports based website offered market research profile. Delhi based Faces Cosmetics offered Branding and Marketing profile, which is rarely offered to students outside the colleges in the top tier. Mumbai based V2 Solutions offered a coveted Data Analytics profile. The Murugappa Group also offered various Market Research profiles across group locations.
